BLACKBOOK
The music video cover of D-A-D drummer Laust Sonne and Maria Erwolter on the cover of solo album Lost Son — a musical story of addiction, infidelity and love

Post-produktionLaust Sonne "One Thing"

Laust Sonne is best known as the drummer of D-A-D, one of Denmark's biggest rock bands. But behind the rock-and-roll façade lies a far more personal story —of cocaine and alcohol addiction, infidelity, and a drug-induced psychosis that landed him in a closed psychiatric ward in 2018.

Eight years later, he releases his solo album Lost Son — the musical counterpart to the book Laust og Maria, co-written with his wife Maria Erwolter. An album that holds nothing back.

"One Thing" is one of the album's most-streamed track — and its most honest. A direct address to Maria about what nearly cost them everything.

The music video was created by photographer and producer Philippe Merie who brought his visual instinct to directing AI — guiding it to inhabit and extend his distinctive photographic world. Jeppe Sloth Carlsen handled post-production — editing, colour grading, and visual effects — shaping the footage into a coherent and emotionally driven narrative.
